The Route 97 Music Festival

Now in its seventh year, the Route 97 Music Festival features house concerts of traditional music held near Port Jervis, NY (“Where New York, New Jersey, and Pennsylvania meet”).

Sunday September 18, 2011: Joy Bennett and Chris Koldewey.

Joy is a member of the internationally acclaimed Johnson Girls, an all women group of singers of Sea Chanteys, gospel, and other traditional songs. Her husband Chris Koldewey performs many types of traditional songs including Chanteys, work songs, ballads, old-time, and others.
